GMBC opens a new Munich office for its business development team

Today GMBC announced the opening of a new office in Munich in a move to bring its business development team under one roof. The Munich office will serve clients throughout the European region. In addition to the news, GMBC confirmed the closure of its London branch by the end of August in view of the persistent operational and regulatory uncertainty owed to Brexit.

“A while ago, we planned to build out a client team in our London office. Brexit process put things on hold. In the meantime, our company has matured, and we need resources to sustain growth, especially in Continental Europe,” said Sergey Grazhdankin, co-founder and managing partner of GMBC. “London remains an important insurance marketplace and innovation hub for our company, and we may consider re-establishing our presence in the UK market sometime in the future. In the years to come though, we will be expanding our team in the new Munich office to support the continuing growth of our client portfolio.”
